Kolpak Air Shield keeps the cold air inside the walk-in where it belongs eliminating troublesome strip curtains
Kolpak Air Shield keeps the cold air inside the walk-in where it belongs eliminating troublesome strip curtainsMay 22nd, 2010Parsons, Tenn. – May 22, 2010 – The Air Shield by Kolpak features an innovative air delivery system that channels a barrier of refrigerated air inside the walk-in and across the entrance of the walk-in. Cold air flows horizontally across the interior side of the door opening, keeping cold air in and warm air out. The Air Shield is automatically activated when the door is opened and shuts off when the door closes; significantly reducing the amount of warm air infiltration into the refrigerated space. It is designed to mount vertically, adjacent to the walk-in door on the interior wall surface. Walk-ins using the Air Shield system are up to 20% more energy efficient.
