May 22nd, 2010
Parsons, Tenn. – May 22, 2010 – Choosing the right refrigeration system to run your walk-in can be a challenge. Manitowoc Foodservice offers energy-efficient RDI refrigeration systems for just about any type of walk-in cooler or freezer application. RDI refrigeration units have been redesigned to offer improved performance and serviceability.
Improvements include a heavy-gauge metal housing to minimize shipping and handling damage, an epoxy-coated wire guard for easy viewing of components and improved air flow, an easily accessible electrical panel, and a five-piece housing that disassembles for flat storage of panels.
RDI Refrigeration Systems feature:
• Energy-efficient PSC motors
• 51% more condenser to ensure efficient performance at high ambient temperatures
• Large fan blade to increase air flow across the condenser by 55%
• Line mounted pressure switches replace capillary tubes for higher accuracy
• Energy-efficient PSC motors
• Electrical box is easily accessible; simplifying installation and service
• All components are conveniently arranged on a heavy-duty base for easy serviceability
• Oversized receiver tank is large enough for added pump-down capacity
Other RDI refrigeration systems include pre-charged line systems, pre-assembled remote systems, multi-circuit condensing units, scroll systems, and high-side condensing systems – designed specifically to operate on walk-ins over a wide range of ambient temperatures.
