Aluminum (Built-In Interior Ramp)

Answers a special need arising from light duty wheel-in traffic
Located in the threshold entrance aisle to maximize space
Non-skid strips are included
A heated threshold is employed in interior ramps to prevent frost and moisture condensation
Floor panels with an interior ramp must have the entire underside of floor panels in the ramp area supported
16 ga stainless steel or galvanized steel available
Standard depths: 20" or 38"

Openers and Closers

Spring Hinge by Kason Spring mechanism adds extra closing force to overcome air resistance on heavy doors; Available in polished or brushed chrome; flush or offset.
International Door Closer For large walk-in door; Surface mounted
Foot Treadle Allows for hands free door opening; Flush mount only.

Switches and Switchcovers

3-Way Switches Allow operation of interior lights from two separate entrance doors; Exterior mounted on the door sections, they feature pilot lights that are illuminated when the interior lights are on.
Dual 3-Way Switches Two switches on each entrance door; The exterior switch has a pilot light that illuminates when the interior lights are on and the interior switch has a constantly burning pilot light, which is used for locating the switch in the event interior lights are turned off from the outside.
Weatherproof Switch Cover Provides added protection where exposed to damage; Cover protects against moisture, dust and other contaminants; Weatherproof gasket seals cover edges.

Thru-Ceiling Door Electrical Assembly

Allows the door to be pre-wired to the exterior of the ceiling panel using a J-boxes, covers and fasteners.

Strip Curtain and Door

Strip Curtain Clear, thermoplastic strip curtain is installed in the door opening, saving energy by reducing the loss of refrigerated air when the door is open, and withstanding operating extremes of -20ºF to +160ºF.
Strip Door Two-piece curtain installed in the door opening saving energy by reducing the loss of refrigerated air when door is open.

Air Shield

Designed to mount vertically adjacent to the hinge side of the walk-in door on the interior wall surface
Features an innovative air delivery system that channels a barrier of refrigerated air which flows horizontally across the interior side of the door opening
Automatically activated when the door is opened and shuts off when the door closes
Significantly reduces the amount of warm air infiltration into the refrigerated space which keeps the cold air in and the warm air out

Viewport

Allows the user outside to look inside without opening the door
The user inside can ensure the door swing path is clear before opening the door
The glass is heated in freezer applications
Sizes available are 14" x 14" and 14" x 24"

Door Kickplate

Available from 18" high to full coverage
Available in 16-gauge stainless steel or diamond tread plate, kickplates offer additional protection to doors
Factory installed
Standard heights are 18", 24", 36" and 48"
Matching doorframe kickplates also available

Locks

Dead Bolt Lock Assembly consists of a Kason dead bolt as the standard lock; The dead bolt is thrown or retracted by a key from the outside or a thumb-turn on the interior.
Locking Bar Used to provide added protection against theft; Bar fits across entire door and is secured on both ends with padlocks or combination locks (not provided); Inside safety release is provided; Field mounting required in some instances, consult factory.

Rain Hood

Specified for Kolpak walk-in doors located outdoors
Shield diverts snow or rain from the door opening
Field installed with sheet metal screws
A similar hood is provided for the heated air vent on freezer walk-ins
